Fri., Nov. 27th Sandy's Woluwe Walk

It was time to pay our "dues" to the weather gods! After months of unusually lovely walking weather this week has been quite a change for us. Paulette's Monday walk in Jezus-Eik had to be cancelled (a rare occurance for the walkers) due to rain and gale force winds which closed the forest. The rest of the week has also been unsettled. We were all looking forward to an excursion to the Bois de la Cambre this afternoon and a visit to the new Chalet Robinson on the island for our refreshments. It was not to be! Sandy rescheduled late in the morning for us to meet at the Tram Museum parking lot in Woluwe. It was really wild weather as the 10 of us arrived but soon the sun made a brief appearance and we ventured on. Who is the mystery walker all bundled up with Milky??? Even Milky wore not one but TWO raincoats and still he got wet. Only the brave ventured out today and we even had a guest walker join us. Who knows if we will EVER see her again ...
