List of directions to the WIC walks around Brussels

Alsemberg
Meeting point: in the car park opposite the furniture shop Vastiau Godeau, (1,Steenweg op Halle, 1652 Alsemberg) 
Directions: head south on the Chaussée de Waterloo to Rhode-Saint-Genèse and turn right at the light onto Avenue de la Forêt de Soignes. Continue on this road that twists and turns for several kilometers. Eventually you will get to the intersection with Chaussée de Braine L'Alleud (there will be a Delhaize on the corner on the left). Turn left and you will see the large Vastiau Godeau store on your right. Turn left into their car park opposite the shop. 


Beersel
Meeting point: the ‘Drie Fonteinen’ restaurant next to the church, Hoogstraat 2A, 1650 Beersel. 
Directions: From the east side of Brussels, go southwards round the Ring 0 and when you reach the Paris motorway (E-19), take the Brussels direction towards the north. Leave the motorway at EXIT 19 (BEERSEL) and follow signs to the centre. Pass the castle on your right, continue uphill and park in front of the church on your right at the top of the hill. If there is no space, there is additional parking space just down the hill on both sides. 

Bertem
Meeting point: at the car park of “Bertembos-Feestzaal” building, 187 Bosstraat, in 3060 Bertem.  
Directions: from Tervueren, go straight on the N3/Leuvensesteenweg and after you pass the entrance to the E40 direction Liege-Luik, follow the N3 towards Leuven-Bertem. You will be on the Tervurensesteenweg. After the roundabout continue straight on. You will see an ALDI supermarket on your right. Continue past the traffic lights and take the first street on your left (Bosstraat) toward Veltem. Continue on this street and when you come to the traffic chicane you will drive another 150 metres before you see, on your left, the “Bertembos-Feestzaal” building at no. 187- there is parking space on your right and also on your left next to the building.

Hallerbos (Bluebells walk)
Meeting point: at “Acht Dreven” which lies at the intersection of Vlasmarktdreef and Lindendreef in the Hallerbos (Bois de Halle) (postal code 1500 – Halle). 
Directions: to reach the Acht Dreven meeting point, take the Ring O south towards the junction with the Paris motorway and take the Ittre exit. You arrive at a T-junction.  Turn right onto the N28, heading north towards Halle and stay on this road for 5.5 kms. You will go through Braine Le Château. When the road climbs sharply, you will see red cycle lanes come up on both sides of the road. Slow down and turn sharply onto the first RIGHT (VLASMARKTDREEF). There is a sign at the turn saying Hallerbos parking (the arrow on the sign indicates left but this is only for street parking. You need to go right).  Follow Vlasmarktdreef all the way to the meeting spot. It will cross over the E19 on the way. If the barrier is open to the forest you can park in the area of Acht Dreven. Otherwise park near the barrier.

Bois de la Cambre
Meeting point: the car park between the brasserie La Patinoire, the Théâtre de Poche and the restaurant “Jeux d’hiver”.
Directions: from Avenue Louise, go into the Bois de la Cambre and get into the left hand lane. Follow the road around the first turn and park your car anywhere along the pavement or take a left at the traffic light onto Allée de l’Amazone followed by Chemin du Jeu de Croquet leading to the restaurant called Jeux d'Hiver (do not turn to left at the Theatre de Poche sign, but just beyond at the light). Park your car in the parking area, which is also adjacent to the Théâtre de Poche.  
Note: Walkers can also get there from the stop “Legrand” (by tram 7, 23, 24 or 94). From the tram stop, walk to the Square du Bois and into the Bois de la Cambre, crossing the road at the first pedestrian light and follow the cobblestone path past the brasserie and straight into the parking area between the 2 restaurants

Bosmuseum walk
Meeting point:the car park on Avenue Dubois, Groenendael
Directions: coming from Brussels, leave the Ring at the Groenendael intersection, go through the traffic lights and turn right. The car park is roughly 600 m ahead on the left, beside the large white building. The entrance is just before the building.
For refreshments we will have to drive to "Chez Lulu" at Groenendael station, across the Ring and first left
Meeting point:  Place d’Ophain, 1420 Braine-l’Alleud.
Directions: take the Ring to junction 23 - Ophain - and turn right, following the sign for Braine-l’Alleud/Ophain.  Keep straight on until you see a car park and a church on the right 

Château de la Hulpe-back entrance
Meeting point:in the car park at the BACK of Château de la Hulpe 
Directions: from Brussels, take the Ring (R0) direction Waterloo. You pass under the Tervuren intersection (Quatre Bras) and then again under the E411 intersection (Carrefour Leonard). Take the exit “Terhulpen/Genval” and take the second turn left towards Genval (DO NOT TAKE THE FIRST LEFT TO HOEILAART). Stay on the road for 4 km until you see the Château de la Hulpe on your right. Go past the front entrance and turn right at the next red light (crossroads called “Les 3 Colonnes”), following the signs to the Musée Folon and Gaillemarde. At the 3rd roundabout, follow Gaillemarde and the Musée Folon signs. Continue until you arrive at the car park at the back of the Château de la Hulpe.


Château de la Hulpe-front entrance. 
Meeting point: the front entrance of the property at 111 Chaussée de Bruxelles in 1310 La Hulpe.
Directions: take the Ring (R0) direction Waterloo. You pass under the Tervuren intersection (Quatre-Bras) and then again under the E411 intersection (Carrefour Leonard). Take the exit “Terhulpen/Genval” and take the second turn left towards Genval.  (DO NOT TAKE THE FIRST LEFT TO HOEILAART). Stay on the road for 4 kms. The front entrance of the Château will be on your right as you go downhill just past the roundabout. 
If you come from Lasne, follow the direction La Hulpe and turn left on the Chaussée de Bruxelles. The entrance to the Château will be on your left.


Forêt de Soignes (Drève du Comte) 
Meeting point: at the car park located at the end of the Drève in 1170 Watermael-Boitsfort.
GPS address : 169 Chaussée de la Hulpe 1170 Watermael-Boitsfort. 
Directions: You can reach this walk by tram 94 to the Stop “Coccinelles”. Enter the forest opposite the tram stop and follow the Drève du Comte, a narrow cobbled road, to the end. Unfortunately there is no sign at the intersection with the Chaussée de la Hulpe. Drève du Comte is a small cobbled road leading off the Chaussée de la Hulpe.
Coming from Boulevard du Souverain direction, just after the round Glaverbel building, look out for number 130 coming up on the right. This building is at a junction with traffic lights where you need to turn left into Drève du Comte. Park at the far end of the road.

Forêt de Soignes (Groenendael)
Meeting point: Groenendael station
Directions:  Come off the Ring at the Groenendaal intersection and drive towards Hoeilaart. You’ll see the Groenendael station on your right after 200 meters. Carpool is recommended as parking conditions are not easy. 

Forêt de Soignes (Nisard)
Meeting point: the car park at the top of rue Nisard in Watermael-Boitsfort. Directions: the GPS address is 63 Rue Nisard, 1170 Watermael-Boitsfort. 
This walk can be reached by Tram 94 (Weiner stop). Then cross the Boulevard du Souverain and walk up to the car park located at the top of Rue Nisard. 

Forêt de Soignes (E411)
Meeting point: the car park under the E411 in 1160 Auderghem.
Directions: pass the ADEPS sports centre on your right, Chaussée de Wavre 2057 at 1160 Auderghem and continue to the bottom of the hill. Turn left and park under the E411. 
Public transport: Tram 94 or metro to the Herman Debroux stop. Then about a 15-minute walk to the meeting spot. 

Forêt de Soignes (Welriekende dreef) 
Meeting point: the Barbizon restaurant in Welriekende Dreef 95 at 3090 Overijse.
Directions: from Brussels take the Jesus Eik exit on E411. Then immediately take the very first street on your right BEFORE THE BRIDGE, the Welriekende Dreef, and follow it for more or less 400 meters. When you see an open field on your left, drive more slowly, and at the bus stop, turn right into a small car park (the first car park where we used to go is no longer available). Alternatively you can drive on a little further into the Country Club car park or simply park your car in the 1st street on the left which is St Hubertusdreef. 

Gaasbeek castle.
Meeting point: in the car park of the Restaurant Oud-Gaasbeek at 37 Kasteelstraat, 1750 Lennik.  
Directions:  From the Ring on the WEST side of Brussels , take exit 15a (Lennik) and head in the direction of Vlezenbeek.   Go about 4 km, passing through Vlezenbeek and following signs to Gaasbeek.   When you are almost there, take a sharp turn to the right and look for the signpost for Gaasbeek on your right.  A bit further down the road, you will see a restaurant on your right and its large car park, just across from the entrance to Gaasbeek Castle.  

Genval. 
Meeting point: in front of the Château du Lac beside the lake. The GPS address is Château du Lac, avenue du Lac 87, 1332 Genval
Directions: take exit 4 from the E411 motorway (going to Namur and Luxemburg) towards Rosières/Genval. Turn right at the intersection following the sign Genval /Château du Lac. You should pass a Shell station on your left. Take the third exit on the first roundabout, following the sign Château du Lac. 
At the second roundabout, go straight on, following the sign Schweppes and Genval. 
At the third roundabout, follow the sign Lac de Genval and Château du Lac. 
Turn right after 300 metres following the sign Château du Lac, then drive around the lake until you arrive at your destination. 

Grez Doiceau
Meeting point:Place Ernest Dubois in Grez-Doiceau.
Directions: from Brussels, take the E411 to exit 8 (Louvranges) and turn right onto the N25 towards Louvain/Grez-Doiceau/Chaumont-Gistoux. At the first 
roundabout go straight on, at the second turn right towards Grez-Doiceau. You come down round a left-hand bend into the village and Place E. Dubois is almost immediately on your right (near the church).

Grimbergen
Meeting point: the car park called “Parking Prinsenbos”, Pastoor Woutersstraat, 1850 Grimbergen (next to the Sport Centre Prinsenbos).
Directions: take the Ring going north direction Ghent, stay on Ring over the Vilvoorde motorway viaduct and 7 kms past Zaventem, take exit 7 signposted Grimbergen. Turn right onto N202 to Grimbergen. 
The road from the Ring to Grimbergen centre is being redone but the “Omlegging”(deviation) will bring you to the centre of Grimbergen - and the Parking- without any problem.

Groenendael
Meeting point: Groenendael station
Directions:  Come off the Ring at the Groenendaal intersection and drive towards Hoeilaart. You’ll see the Groenendael station on your right after 200 meters. Carpool is recommended as parking conditions are not easy. 
Huldenberg
Meeting point: in the car park behind the town square. 
Boots are recommended.
Directions: from Brussels, follow the E411 towards Namur, take exit 3 signposted Overijse, turn left and pass over the motorway bridge. Follow the sign Huldenberg/Leuven. After a few kilometers you’ll arrive in the middle of Huldenberg. Turn right in the town square, then immediately left to go to the car park. 


Ittre
Meeting point: the Deli traiteur car park 
GPS address: rue du Centenaire 10, 1460 Ittre
Directions: take the Ring to the South towards the junction with the Paris motorway and follow Ittre. You are at a T-junction with the N28. Turn left towards Nivelles. Almost immediately, turn right towards Ittre. Go through Haut-Ittre, careful to follow a sharp right hand bend. At the bottom of the hill as you enter Ittre, there is a Deli traiteur on your right where you can park.

Ittre - Alternative route
Take the Ring towards Waterloo. Exit at no 23 (Ophain). Turn left and cross over the Ring. You are on Rue de Bois-Seigneur-Isaac which becomes rue des Renclos. At the junction with the N280, take the right fork to the N28. Turn right on the N28 (Rue de Hal). Cross over the E19 and take the 2nd left onto Bld Piron/N280 and follow the road all the way to Rue de la Montagne.

Jesus Eik
Meeting point: behind the church of Jesus-Eik (Kapucijnendreef), 3090 Overijse.
Directions: If coming from Brussels, take E411 to exit 2 (Jesus Eik) and turn left over the motorway bridge. You'll see the church in front of you. 
If coming from the South, take the exit Jesus Eik . Turn left up towards the stop sign then right to the traffic lights. You'll see the church in front of you.

Kraainem
Meeting point: “D’Oude Pastorie" (today "Maxime Colin" restaurant) car park called Parking Parc Jourdain, av.Arthur Desangré 1950 Kraainem. 
Coming from Stockel, you get there by taking avenue Reine Astrid to the end. At the light you turn right and a little further up left. DO NOT TAKE the Boulevard de la Woluwe since there are many roadworks.
On the website it says use Kasteelweg as the GPS address.

Leefdaal
Meeting point: the car park opposite the church (519 Dorpstraat, 3061 Leefdaal). 
Directions: Coming from the Quatre Bras, go by the African Museum on the N3 for between 4-5 kms.   Turn right at the sign for Leefdaal.   Turn left at the t-junction at the bottom of the road and shortly you will find the car park opposite the church.

Loonbeek
Meeting point: Car parking area (near bus stops and with recycling bins) on main road, N253.  Address for the GPS:  Sint-Jansbergsteenweg 24, 3040 Huldenberg
Directions: from  E411  take exit 3 signposted Overijse follow the sign Huldenberg/Leuven then Loonbeek, the parking spot is on the left - you will first see a bus stop and the car park is immediately after it.  From the E40 take exit 22 and follow the sign towards Tervuren.  Turn left towards Leefdaal. At Leefdaal go right and then very soon left towards Neerijse. At Neerijse turn right, and past the Church on your left. When you come to the white church ahead of you the road bends left, and the car park is very soon on your right as the road bends to the right.


Meise: Botanical Gardens
Meeting Point: Outside the gardens. Parking is in the (currently full of puddles) car park opposite (care when crossing - busy road), or in the allocated parking spaces on the road. 
Please Note:  There is an entrance fee (Nov 17 charges are €7 or €6 for over 60s) please bring change!  Coffee will be held in the garden's Orangerie Cafe.  
This is a gentle walk, and we will be walking round in circles!
Directions:  Leave A12 at the  exit no. 3 (Meise, Grimbergen, National Plantentuin) and turn right, direction Meise, Vilvoorde, National Plantentuin (N211). Follow the Vilvoordsesteenweg and take the 4th on the right on to Kappellelaan.  This goes over (or under!) the A12, and then meets the N277 (Nieuwelaan).  Turn left, and the gardens are on your right (parking on the left).

Meise: St. Martin's Church
Meeting point : the Sint Martinuskerk (St Martin’s church), Brusselsesteenweg 1, in the centre of 1860 Meise.
The walk is called “Het Hollewegenpad “ and is 9.2 km long (about 2 hours). We’ll have our refreshments in a small café/restaurant in the centre of Meise, “Den Beiaard”, Brusselsesteenweg 48. You will probably find a parking spot along the wall of the Botanical Garden of Meise. Another possibility is to leave the car in the car pool parking lot along the Nieuwelaan, just at the entrance to Meise. 
Directions: On the Ring 0 direction Gent, Brugge, Ostende, take exit 7a & 8 and follow the A12 Willebroek.
Leave A12 at the first exit no. 3 (Meise, Grimbergen, National Plantentuin) and turn right, direction Meise, Vilvoorde, National Plantentuin (N211). Follow the Vilvoordsesteenweg until the next lights where you turn right and follow the Kappellelaan towards Meise Centrum. Go to the church in the middle of Meise at the Brusselsesteenweg 1.

Moorsel (Steenberg)
Meeting point: the car park of Steenberg.
Directions: From the E40 take the exit Sterrebeek , turn right at the light and then continue downhill to the next intersection. Follow the signs to Moorsel. After the fields on both sides, you will see a cemetery to your left and a pharmacy to your right. Follow the signs "Steenberg". Park in the parking lot that you will see in front of you.
From Tervuren follow the detour signs before you get to the Africa museum. This is a narrow lane (speed limit 30 km/hr), continue straight on, don't follow the signs to "Carrefour" but continue straight on into a narrow lane between the fields . At the end turn left and you will end up at the Moorselstraat,
Then turn right at the sign "Steenberg" and follow it.


Neerijse
Meeting point: the car park next to Sint Pieter en Pauwel Church in Neerijse. The address for the GPS is Dorpstraat, 3040 Neerijse/Huldenberg (50.817162, 4.625755)
Directions: from Brussels, follow the E411 towards Namur, take exit 3 signposted Overijse, turn left and pass over the motorway bridge. Follow the sign Huldenberg/Leuven then Loonbeek until you arrive at the car park in front of the Neerijse church.

Ohain/Lasne
Meeting point: Route de la Marache near the car park of Auberge de la Roseraie, 4 Route de la Marache 1380 Ohain. 
Directions: take the Ring (R0) towards Waterloo. At the Groenendael Bridge turn left in the direction of Château de la Hulpe and  follow  Chaussée de Bruxelles. Go straight through 2 traffic lights and down the hill to the next set of lights. Just after the petrol station, turn right at signs for Genval and Lasne (on N271). Continue on this road a long way until you arrive at a roundabout called "Le Messager". Take the 3rd exit to Ohain /Lasne (rue du Try Bara). After a short distance, you'll see a triangle of green with a bandstand on your right. You've arrived at the Place Communale d'Ohain. Take a right there, then a left, then another right. You are on Rue de l’Eglise St Etienne which becomes Route de la Marache. 

Overijse (sunken lanes)  
Meeting point: at the intersection of Warandelaan and Taymanstraat. Parking available in those 2 streets or in Ijskelderlaan

Directions: From Brussels take the exit 3 on E411. Turn left across the bridge over the motorway. Follow the road down the hill for some 3 kms until you arrive at a big intersection with traffic lights. Turn left on the Chaussée de Bruxelles (Brusselsesteenweg) Turn right after 150 meters and take the Stafhouderbraffortlaan (before the church, just as the road turns left) to the end.

Overijse ( towards Groenendaal)
Meeting point: at the restaurant Barbizon in Welriekende Dreef in Overijse. The GPS address of the Barbizon restaurant is Welriekende Dreef 95 at 3090 Overijse/Jesus Eik.
Directions: from Brussels take the Jesus Eik exit on E411. Then immediately take the very first street on your right BEFORE THE BRIDGE, the Welriekende Dreef, and follow it for more or less 400 meters. When you see an open field on your left, drive more slowly, and at the bus stop, turn right into the second small car park ( the first car park where we used to go is no longer available). Alternatively you can drive on a little further into the Country Club car park or simply park your car in the 1st street left which is St Hubertuslaan.
Refreshments: at the Royal Country Club House, Welriekende Dreef 99 - 3090 Overijse.

Plancenoit
Meeting point: the church at Place de Plancenoit, 1380 Plancenoit.
Directions:  Leave Brussels Ring at exit 26 (Mont St Jean) and follow signs for N5 Genappe which should take you on to the Chaussée de Charleroi.  After about 2km, you will see a sign to Plancenoit on the left. 

Rouge-Cloître in Auderghem
Meeting spot: the car park under the E411 in Auderghem
Refreshments: the ADEPS cafetaria
Directions: To get there, pass the ADEPS sports center on your right,  Chaussée de Wavre 2057 at 1160 Auderghem and continue to the bottom of the hill. Turn left and park under the E411. 
Public transport: Tram 94 or metro to the Herman Debroux stop. Then about a 15-minute walk to the meeting spot.  

Sterrebeek. 
Meeting point: the large square car park (Baron Brugmann de Walzinplein) at the end of Hippodroomlaan, 1933 Sterrebeek. 
The terminus of the 39 tram is only 5 minutes walk away from the start of this walk.
Refreshments: at The Yearling.

Tervueren (Lake) 
Meeting point: at the lake next to the “Bistro Mille” cafe                                                                 
Directions: from Brussels, take Avenue de Tervueren, cross the Ring at the intersection"Quatre-Bras" and keep going on the same road (also called Tervuerenlaan or Leuvense Steenweg). From Waterloo, on the Ring, turn right at the intersection with Avenue de Tervueren towards Tervueren. At the roundabout (animal orchestra fountain), go straight on towards the big white building and then take the street on the right until you see the lake on your left. 
The easiest place to park is in the P-Markt underneath the new town hall.
You can also reach this walk by tram 44 from the metro station Montgomery. From the tram terminus at Tervueren,  walk back down the main road ( Leuvense Steenweg) to the roundabout with the animal orchestra fountain. Turn left on the Paleizenlaan then turn right on the Kastanjedreef and walk straight down to the lake.


Tervuren Park (Gordaallaan)
Meeting point: Gordaallaan 18, 3080 Tervuren
Directions: if coming from town, take Avenue de Tervueren, cross the Ring at the intersection "Quatre-Bras" and keep going on the same road (also called Tervurenlaan or Leuvense Steenweg). If coming from Waterloo on the Ring, turn right at the intersection with the Avenue de Tervueren towards Tervuren. 
At the roundabout (with animals on display at the fountain), follow the signs for Leuven. Take the second road on the right after the British School, immediately before the Q8 garage.  This is Gordaallaan, and almost immediately you need to turn right on a cobbled road.  Drive to the end and meet by the stone arch leading into the park.


Villers-La-Ville
Meeting point: the car park near the Abbey ruins (GPS: 55 rue de l’Abbaye, 1495 Villers-la-Ville). 
Directions: take the E411 towards Namur and take the exit 9 (Corroy-le-Grand/Nivelles). Bear right and at the roundabout carry straight on following N25 (Nivelles). After 6.8 kms, take the exit to N275 signposted Court-St Etienne/Villers-la-Ville. At the exit you have to turn left. Be careful, it is a dangerous spot. Drive for 5.1 kms and turn left again towards the centre of Villers. The Abbey ruins are on your left. Turn right again and park your car in the car park.

Vossem 
Meeting point: parking area on Pastorieplein in front of “de Gemeentelijke Basis School” at the end of Stationstraat. 
Directions: From Brussels take the avenue de Tervuren to the Quatre Bras and continue on the N3 (Leuvensteenweg) towards Leuven; continue past the African Museum and the British School until you reach the second set of traffic lights. Turn right, following the sign for Vossem, onto Stationstraat. At the bottom of the road turn into the parking area on Pastorieplein.

Wezemaal. 
Meeting point: the car park on the Wezemaalplein next to the tourist office
(GPS: 16 Kerkstraat, 3111 Wezemaal (Rotselaar) 
Directions: Take E 40 towards Liege and exit direction Louvain, then take E314 direction Hasselt/Genk. Take exit 21. At traffic lights turn left towards Rotselaar. Continue straight ahead to roundabout then turn right towards  Wezemaal centrum. Turn right to reach tourist office. There is ample parking to the left of the tourist office on Wezemaalplein. 
Pancakes afterwards in the Brasserie Darche, Aarschotsesteenweg 59, 3110 Rotselaar. 

Wezembeek
Meeting point: beside the church at the corner of Chaussée de Malines and Vosberg ( opposite the restaurant “Les Amis Dînent”, 113 Chaussée de Malines 1970 Wezembeek).
Directions: Can be reached by tram 39 to Ter Meeren (turn right and walk down Chaussée de Malines about 300 m) or by De Lijn bus 380 or 410 to Vosberg stop.
Refreshments: La Finca, 71 Chaussée de Malines

Woluwe 
Meeting point: at the Tram Museum on the Avenue de Tervueren. 
Car park at the usual place in the street (Rue Leybeek) on the right just after the museum or on Boulevard du Souverain (opposite the Brasserie des Etangs Mellaerts)
This can be reached by tram 39 and 44 Trams or bus 42. Get off at the Musée du Tram stop. 
Refreshments at the tearoom Equant, 1 Place des Mayeurs in 1150 Woluwe St Pierre

Wolvendael Park + Dieweg +Kauwberg.
Meeting point: at the Wolvendael Park entrance located on the Square des Heros between Avenue De Fre and Chemin de Crabbegat in 1180 Uccle.
This walk includes the visit of the old classified Dieweg cemetery and the Kauwberg (a peaceful nature reserve).
Directions: take avenue Brugmann from avenue Winston Churchill or avenue Defré from the Chaussée de Waterloo. It is difficult to park on the square itself, but the Rue Rouge offers a good alternative.
The immediate area (stop Héros) is served by trams 4 and 92 and by bus 43.  

Zaventem
Meeting point: St Martinus church, Kerkplein, 1930 Zaventem.
This is accessible by bus 830 from Overijse, bus 359 from Roodebeek, or train from Central Station to Zaventem Dorp.  
Refreshments : at the Brasserie Mariadal, Kouterweg 2, 1930 Zaventem.


Zoetewater
Meeting point: at the" Spaans Dak" restaurant, 2 Maurits Noestraat, 3050 Oud-Heverlee..
Directions: from Brussels, take the E40 towards Leuven/Liege and exit at nr 23 following the sign Haasrode/Blanden, take the express lane/N25 towards Bierbeek/Blanden. Turn right on N251/Naamsesteenweg (At traffic light turn right and follow sign Oud-Heverlee). Go into left lane and turn left immediately. Stay on the road for 6 kms following the signs for  Zoetewater. You will arrive at Maurits Noestraat along ponds. The Spaans Dak is a big white building between the two ponds.
