This is one of our favorite walking areas although it is about a 45 minute drive from Brussels. We were delighted therefore when Paulette put it on the summer schedule this week! Once there we headed out past the ruins of the Abbey at Villers-la-Ville and followed along ancient pathways. We did enconter a little mud but basically it was a fine and varied venue for our excursion. We all felt we got a good work out and we were all happy to relax finally under the shady trees in the yard of the Chalet de la Foret at the conclusion.
