We were fortunate to get through the walk with out rain and were even more fortunate to adjourn to the nearby, comfortable home of our fellow walkers Sarah K and her faithful black lab, Spartacus, who provided this afternoon's refreshments. It was with great unhappiness however for us to bid them both farewell as they will soon be moving to the UK. After so many walks and so many talks together over the years this was our opportunity to say our "good byes" while sharing some of Sarah's fine hospitality. She and husband, Bill, provided delicious brownies and other treats along with hot tea and coffee. We will miss them all and hope they will visit Brussels often to join us on walks when they do. The WIC walkers presented Sarah and Spartacus with a framed grouping of photos of some of the walks they had participated in and a farewell card signed by all of us ... sigh!!!
