Here we paused in front of the birches at the edge of the quarry at the top of the Kauwberg. We welcomed a new walker, Mary, 3rd from the right and hope she will join us again soon. Our gathering point here was a dramatic scene from our point of view with a substantial drop to our left. Too bad it doesn't show up that well in the photo.
