For those WIC Walkers who would like to meet up at the 10th Annual Beer Festival on the Grand Place this weekend ... bring a spouse, bring a friend or just come by yourself ... The plan is to meet on Saturday, Sept. 6th at 5pm in front of the Hotel de Ville on the Grand Place. There will be a crowd so a meeting spot is a necessity. If you arrive ahead of time stand in line and purchase your bottle caps at one of the booths which you will exchange for the beers (2-3 per beer) ... and try to secure a small table for the group to stand around. PS. It is a good idea to bring some pretzels or crackers to share as there is no food available except the beers and we may decide to eat locally after we have had enough of this event for the afternoon.
