Fri., Aug. 29th - Bonnie's Jezus-Eik Walk

We chose this cafe hoping to have some of their delicious hot mente tea unfortunately they were out of the mint. The staff at the Cafe de la Foret restaurant though were nice enough to allow us to move their tables together to make 2 long rows to accomodate the 17 of us who showed up for today's walk. Here is an attempt to capture a photo of all of us. We had a fun time and some of the ladies even indulged in the crepes. Jane took the opportunity to send around some printed information on the Giant Hogweed, a dangerous and poisonous plant, which is now in Belgium and there will be more forthcoming about it on the blog. "Thanks, Jane" for keeping us advised on this.
