This is where we began Kathleen's walk in the magnificent Hotel de Ville of Saint Gilles! Nine of us braved the elements today to see some most interesting parts of Brussels. Our many "thanks" to Kathleen for providing us with such an interesting and varied excursion. We saw many "hidden" spots of our city as well as a wide variety of architectural edifaces. We walked for a good 2 hours from Saint Gilles to Forest. We then stopped for refreshments at L'Abbaye de Forest before taking the tram back to our starting point. What a great afternoon!
