Today we felt as if autumn has arrived! Lovely walking weather, sunny and autumnally fresh!
We were quite a large group (14) for this regular route, although we were forced into back-tracking and following another path when our route was barred by red tape. This meant we took a path I normally avoid due to the short but steep climb, but we all managed it and emerged into a scene of devastation! No photo, but it was quite eerie suddenly stepping out from a beautiful wooded hill into a space where all the trees have been felled and the ground littered with the debris from the work.
Coffee was taken at the golf club in the open air!
