This year we had to do a big detour to reach the start point of the walk because of roadworks. It was worth the effort though. The bois de Halle was gorgeous. It was as if we were navigating on an ocean of bluebells. There were thousands of flowers everywhere and we couldn't stop admiring them, taking photographs and enjoying the beauty of the moment.
So did the Thai monk (the splash of orange that you can see behind our group of walkers) we met on the way. Heidi went to talk to him and he thanked her for this sign of kindness by giving her a lovely handmade cotton bracelet.
Since it was Friday, 't Kriekse was open and we could relax on the terrace drinking a coffee or a beer.

I've been waiting for this posting and am so glad the weather cooperated for you all to enjoy it. The monk provided a colorful contrast. I'll definitely save one of the photos for a screen saver! Yea ... Thanks so much!!!
