Anne's walk in Tervuren Park

We all enjoyed our dry and sunny walk around the lakes at Tervuren and into the woods, where we met the Easy Walkers going in the opposite direction!

   We met up with the Easy Walkers again for our refreshments at Mont Blanc, where we were warmly welcomed as always. 

Charity Walk and Lunch

The Charity Walk and Lunch took place at Paulette's place in Overijse. We were blessed with gorgeous weather, in fact it was the sunniest day of the week. Thank you to Margaret for leading a nice walk in the area.

All the participants brought delicious dishes and drinks to share. We all enjoyed eating and socialising on the terrace. Our ex walking friend, Lydia, who was just in Brussels this week, was very happy to join the group on this occasion.

A big thank you to all the participants for contributing one way or the other to this event.

Thank you also to those who could not come but who contributed nevertheless to the Charity.

And last but not least, thank you to all the ladies who helped Paulette during and after the meal. 

Paulette's Walk in the Bois de Halle

Paulette's walk in Overijse on 13th April 2015

What a nice photo Germana has taken! We have never seen such a beautiful flower wall.

Here we are, walking at a good speed on the sunken lanes of Overijse

It was so pleasant in the sun that we decided to have our coffee and niceties on the terrace of 't huisje

How lucky we were in Lasne yesterday! The weather was just fantastic. It felt like summer. 

Although we love the Forêt de Soignes very much in all seasons, it was time to go back to our lovely country walks.

A little surprise here! Our path has disappeared in a field.

but the old boat on the side of rue d'Aquinot is still there

Another surprise, a good one this time, awaited us at the end of the way. Our dear friend
Christa spoiled us with marvellous brownies and coffee to be enjoyed in her beautiful garden.

Paulette's walk in Rouge Cloître on Monday 30th march

Small but enthusiastic group and of course lovely walk. Rouge Cloître is very attractive and we are looking forward to go back there for our annual pic nic. 

We were very lucky to see a beautiful "Brabant" draft horse. We've been told it weighs 1 ton
