A slight chill began to set in today, but it was still lovely walking weather with the winter sunshine giving long shadows to the trees.
We were all sorry that today was Cathy's last official walk with us - but we hope she will come back frequently and walk with us as our guest.
And welcome to Erika, a new walker!
The recent wet weather had left some muddy patches for us to negotiate, and some enterprising woodsman had laid a path of logs to help walkers through one patch ... but only two of our walkers were brave enough to risk it, others took the (not so) long way round!
With perfect timing we met up with Sheila, Elizabeth and Pernette in the car park, but only a small group of us set off in a car pool to Le Bois Gourmand patisserie, in Avenue du Bois de la Cambre, where we were to have coffee. Fortunately we had no trouble parking and we were made very welcome. 5 of us had lovely freshly cooked crepes, and one of us had something else.....
