Margaret's Wezembeek Walk

Well wrapped up and duly kitted out with boots and sticks, seven of us braved the freezing weather for an energetic walk on a day when there was sadly no sun to add a sparkle to the snow.

But that didn't stop us having fun. An invitation to come and play had us throwing snowballs and sticks, though not for as long as our playmate would have liked...

Later we found that we weren't the only ones to have donned our cold-weather kit.

Fortunately, we didn't have to stand out in a frozen field,

but were able to warm up in the café with a nice hot drink.
