34 ladies and a guest braved the elements on a very snowy day to get to our annual Christmas Lunch at the Auberge de la Roseraie in Ohain. A record turnout and a huge success! In spite of missing our walk we all enjoyed the delicious meal and each other’s company thoroughly.
Paulette gave a little speech for the circumstance, a reminder of the year’s highlights and all the places we visited, a word of thanks to all the ladies who jumped in to share the responsibility of leading a walk, to those who hosted us after a walk and to Sheila who allows less fast walkers to join in at their own rhythm. Paulette in turn was thanked for her leadership.
We also took a moment to say goodbye to our walking friends who are leaving in the next few days or months.
Thank you to all the walkers for making this group such an active and enjoyable part of the WIC.
The lovely little Ohain square covered in snow.

SOOO much fun to see these photos of your traditional Christmas feasting at the Auberge ... Too bad the weather didn't cooperate for a walk first but it all looks quite cozy, Christmasy... and, of course, delicious. Still a lot of familiar faces!!! Whew ... Have a great holiday season.
