Janet led her 'usual' forest walk from Dreve du Compte, which she preceded with a lecture on watching our footing as the paths would be covered with leaves hiding protruding roots. Naturally, after this dire warning, the recent wind and rain had swept the paths clear, and all the leaves were now neatly piled where they should be - amongst the trees!
As the ING building has been sold and will be converted to a maison de repos, we have been forced to find somewhere else to have our post-walk drinks. Today we drove to The Repos des Chasseurs, although sadly we seemed to lose Naomi en-route.
In a bit of a twist we arrived before Sheila and Elizabeth, who did a longer walk than us!
