Many thanks to Lydia, our walk leader today, for a lovely tour of the Bois. And we were delighted to welcome Martha, visiting us briefly from her home in Alexandria - have a lovely holiday in Italy Martha!
The Bois was beautifully green today - but it's not every week we come across a beach volleyball court on our walk!
We ended up walking round the Abbaye de la Cambre, having first admired some 'interesting' statues en-route!
Such fun to see MARTHA back for a walk! She certainly looks just like she belongs there. I am sure the exercise helped prepare her for her trekking in Italy. But, WOW ... those are familiar paths you all are walking (sob) ...many in my old neighborhood in the Abbey grounds and in the Bois de la Cambre. Never saw the thumb before though.
