Sun., June 1st High Fens Couples Walk

We stopped here and there to admire the beautiful scenery and the views to Germany in the heart of the national park of the Hautes Fagnes (High Fens) . There is a good amount of history here as Keith indicated it is frontier country. The Romans built roads and there were medieval tracks, some used to carry copper from Germany to the west. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather as it can often be windy here, cold and wet with snow in the winter.
