Greetings from Kathleen!

Hello Everyone -- we are here in Corvallis, Oregon, USA -- all in good health and with all the paraphenalia intact. Even Plume seems of sound mind, despite his 15.5 hours in the box. We've located a place to live -- an apartment in a nice complex where much will be simplified by having maintenance and so forth taken care of, as we ease into civilian life! Nell is being a trouper. We are off to the county fair tomorrow and the beach on Saturday. Life is good. Of course, beautiful sunshine continuously helps. Ask me again in November how we like it! The town is covered in flowers -- gardens everywhere. Last night I walked Plume in a city park that was wild and stunningly beautiful -- saw two big deer just a few meters away and picked more blackberries than we could eat.
We miss you all though -- it's going to take a while to make good friends again. I'll send our address when we've signed the lease in a day or two. I'm running out of time on the library computer, so those of you who can communicate with others in a group who know me, please do! Thanks!
