December is round the corner and the forest near Tervueren park is as beautiful as ever.
Paulette's walk at Château de la Hulpe on 5th August
No other WIC walkers showed up today, but the carpark was full of visitors, so I decided to walk on my own in the beautiful property of Château de la Hulpe and take some photographs of its highlights and charming secret corners. I even sat down next to the Folon Blue man with whom I had a chat :)
For information, the potholes on the access road have finally been smoothed over.
I did check the access to the La Hulpe road from the Groenendael crossroad on the Ring and it is accessible and open in both directions.

Today was probably one of the best days of the year to walk at Château de la Hulpe. The azaleas and the rhododendrons were just stunning. Folon's Blue Man seems very happy to see us again.

It is this time of the year again when the foliage of purple beeches is turning burgundy red amongst the tender green leaves of the other trees.
