Paulette's walk in Rouge-Cloître

 Yesterday, we had a pleasant walk under the shade of the  Rouge-Cloître 's trees.  On the way back, we stopped at the little tavern to have our usual drinks and were served fresh tap water because of the the warmth. How considerate! 

FYI this tavern will be closed from August 6th till the end of the month.

The only place where to walk when the temperature reaches 28 degrees is for sure the Forêt de Soignes and the woods around it. Ingrid, Kyung-Sook, Liz, Val, Yuko and 2 lovely little dogs joined me for this pleasant walk.

Joan's Walk in Tervuren Park

Surprisingly six ladies arrived on what was to be a very hot day.   Luckily Tervuren Park has plenty of shady paths to follow which kept us out of the sun for most of the walk.   We did come across some strange looking plants.

The Spanish House was a welcome end to the walk

Kyung-Sook's Walk at Rouge Cloitre

On another hot day, Kyung managed to take the walkers round under the trees in cool shade.

Ingrid's Walk from the Chateau de la Hulpe

Today the walk was from the back of the Chateau winding through very shady paths.   Afterwards we went to l'Homme Blue to sit in the garden either for a drink or lunch.
