Melly's walk at Chateau de la Hulpe

Another glorious walk amongst the azaleas...

...and past a Davidia tree (dove tree/arbre à pochettes/mouchoirs)

Thanks to Melly for the beautiful walk and Ingeborg for the lovely photos.

Anne's walk in Tervuren Park

Eight of us enjoyed an invigorating walk round the lakes on a fresh but sunny day.

A slight detour to admire the park's best-kept secret!

Big thank yous to Anne for leading the walk, Monique for showing us where to find the bluebells
and Angora for taking the photos

Paulette's walk in the Bois de Halle

Another beautiful day in Bois de Halle. It was really worth while walking there a second time as the bluebells were at their best.

Even Truffles enjoyed the magnificent scenery

Some easy walkers joined us for the occasion.

And also a very good friend of Kyung-Sook

We were lucky enough to see and admire a mandarin duck

and his girl friend

Paulette's walk in Neerijse

There are no words to describe the uniqueness and the beauty of this Neerijse alley at cherry blossom time. All those who came were struck at the colours and the peacefulness of the scenery. This is, by all accounts, one of our most special walks and one that everyone looks forward to.

Here is a home for retired horses.

Here is where we met Sheila's group

Paulette's Walk in the Bois de Halle

We went to admire the white wood anemones, but were pleasantly surprised to discover that we had stumbled across the beginning of the bluebell season.

Many thanks to Paulette for leading us, and it was most impressive that she managed without a map!

The meet-up with Sheila's walkers worked perfectly - hopefully there will be photos taken at coffee to add to these.

As someone quipped: "The Bluebell Girls"!
