Deborah joins us for Isobel's walk in the forest!

We were all delighted to see our old walking friend Deborah, who was visiting Brussels for a few days from her new home in Haarlem.  It was just like old times!

Thank you Isobel for a lovely walk in the forest, in perfect winter walking weather - cold but sunny.

We met up with the easy walkers at the ADEPS cafe, but forgot to take any pictures.  Sorry!

Paulette's walk in Genval

Every year we go to Genval in the winter to enjoy the view of the pretty lake's surroundings but it is the first time we were lucky enough to see it in the sun.

After the walk we had a nice chitchat at the "Brasserie du Lac"

A select and very fast group enjoyed a completely dry walk through the forest, accompanied by early spring birdsong.  

Bosuil cafe had lost their electricity, and were offering only beer, so we went to Cafe de la Foret, where we had good coffee and rather strange hot chocolate.

Fourteen ladies enjoyed a completely dry walk around the lakes today.  At times the wind was cold, and we were glad when we arrived for our coffee at Mont Blanc, where we were welcomed by beautiful bunches of daffodils.
