Yuko's walk at Rouge-Cloitre

Our dear walking friend Ryoko will soon be leaving for Japan, so Yuko took us on a splendid walk around one of Ryoko's favourite places: Rouge-Cloitre Abbey, where we saw plenty of nice animals. Although it was a rainy day, we were a big group, and we enjoyed our coffee at ADEPS after the walk.  Ryoko surprised us with some very tasty macaroons, and there were enough for two each!
Best wishes Ryoko for your return to Japan.  We will miss you, and we hope you will come back and see us.  Bon voyage!!

Another great walk in Ohain. Many climbs. Bravo les filles!

Joan's walk in Tervuren

It was a damp day, but very warm, and we all agreed once again that we like to walk in the morning.
Coffee and ice cream under the canopy at Mont Blanc was delicious as always!

Paulette's walk in Beersel

What a good time we had today! It was sunny and warm but we felt good thanks to a refreshing little breeze. It was so nice to rediscover Beersel. It was not easy to reach the place by car  because of the works and deviations on the road but it was worth while the effort. Unfortunately we missed Sheila and her group because we finished the walk later than usual. 4 of us decided to stay and have a well deserved nice meal in a restaurant nearby.

Paulette's walk at Villers-la-Ville

It was raining when I met D. and V. at the car park opposite the Villers-la-Ville abbey. It didn't seem like a good idea to walk for 2 hours in the fields and woods! So we decided to visit the abbey's ruins instead.
What a wonderful site! A must!
It took us 2 hours to explore this most interesting place and we enjoyed it immensely.

These  two little goats were very surprised to see us. So were we, we thought they were statues.

Here is the place where we will have a drink or a lunch next month

Paulette's walk in Lasne

We had the most lovely walk Friday in Lasne. Nature was at its best and it was not too hot since we took paths in the shade and in the open. The countryside is so picturesque there, a real pleasure for the eyes. We crossed a field full of flax in bud and promised to come back when the flax is in bloom (all blue).
After 2 and a bit hours, we joined Sheila and her group at Miam where everybody enjoyed a refreshing organic drink.
